75 Rs - 4 km - 50 kg

x Rs - 10 km - 80 kg

Relationship between the variables:

As the distance, or the weight increase, the rate will increase. This means that:


(75)/(x) = (4*50)/(10*80)


(75)/(x) = (200)/(800)


(75)/(x) = (2)/(8)


x = (75*8)/(2) = 75*4 = 300

The porter charges Rs 300 at this rate.
