x - 3 = 0 ........................ (1)
4x + 2y - 1 = 0 .............. (2)
From (1):
x - 3 = 0
x = 3
Sub x = 3 into the equation:
4(3) + 2y - 1 = 0
12 + 2y - 1 = 0
2y = -12 + 1
2y = -11
y = -11/2 or -5.5
