sin30°=
(opposite)/(hypotenuse) =

2x = 10 ( divide both sides by 2 )

x = 5

and

cos30° =
(adjacent)/(hypotenuse) =
(y)/(10) =
(√(3) )/(2) ( cross- multiply )

2y = 10
√(3) ( divide both sides by 2 )

y = 5
√(3)
