7 people in a town have caught an infectious virus. The number of people that are infected increases by 15% daily. How many days until 1000 people are infected? Round to the nearest whole day and type your answer into the box.

143 or 6620

So, in order to find x, you need to create an equation.

7x + 0.15 = 1000 = 142.835 or 143

or this equation

7 + 0.15x = 1000 = 6620

- I apologize for not giving an exact answer but I couldn't pick between these two. I think it would make sense to pick the first one since it gives you an actual decimal. Which in your question stated, "Round to the nearest whole day" SO, you would obviously end up with a decimal. But just in case if you have doubts on the first one, the second one is there as well.
