Answer:

The divisibility rule for 4 is that if the number formed by the last two digits in a number is divisible by 4, the original number is divisible by 4

ex:

3944

take a look at the last two digits

⇒ 44

we know that 44 can be divided by 4

⇒ 44 ÷ 4 = 11

therefore, the whole number, 3944, can be divided by 4

⇒ 3944 ÷ 44 = 986
