Energy = (power) x (time)

Energy = (16 watt) x (5 hours)

Energy = 80 watt-hours

or

Energy = 0.08 Kilowatt-hours

or

1 watt = 1 joule/second

5 hours = 18,000 seconds

Energy = (16 joule/sec) x (18,000 sec)

Energy = 288,000 Joules

Step-by-step explanation:

A unit of electricity is represented in kilowatt-hour (KWh). To calculate units, you need to find the energy consumption. It is easy, just multiply power with time.

(16×5 ) watt-hour=80Wh.

Convert it to kilowatt-hour i.e 0.08 KWh/day.

So 0.08 KWh is the energy consumption for one day.
