So..! When you're writing an effective summary, basically here's do's and dont's:

DO DONT

Write the important parts of the Write details that are not needed

text, basically the key details that about the text, that doesn't lead

lead up to the main idea. up to the main idea well.

Write the characters, the setting, (Basically the opposite of the DO)

the conflict, and how it's solved

or the on-going part to it being

solved.

Include the author's name and

the title of the text.
