Answer:

B. $2.83

Explanation:

1.75+(2.7*.4)=

1.75+1.08=

2.83

The answer is $2.83

c=0.40(2.7)+1.75=$2.83 so $2.83 is the answer

2.83

c = 0.4. * 2.7 + 1.75

=> c = 2.83

.4(2.7)+1.75

1.08+1.75=2.83

$2.83 is correct.

B because 1.75 plus .40 is 2.15 then another .40 is 2.55 then charge for the .7 miles and the only logical answer is 2.83. That’s the best i got
