Monkeys unlike most mammals (besides humans) have imposable thumbs which helps them to climb trees and open nuts and fruits.

Monkeys also have powerful tails which they use to hang on branches and to assist them in balance.

Along with imposable thumbs and strong tails, monkeys have long and flexible legs and arms which makes it easy for them to get around and climb trees.
