You wanna break them down into smaller squares to find their area and perimeter.

18 * 24 = 432 (this is the area for the smaller rectangle)

9 * 30 = 270 (I got the 9 by subtrating the total length of your shape, which is 27, by that one part they gave which is 18)

270 + 432 = 702 is your area for your first shape

27 + 24 + 18 + 6 + 9 + 30 = 114 is the perimeter for your first shape

7 * 2 = 14 2 * 3 = 6 = 20 is the area for your second shape

2 + 3 + 3 + 2 + 3 + 2 + 2 + 7 = 24 is the perimeter of your second shape
