Answer:

y= - 13x/9 + 14 2/3

Explanation:

There are two steps to these types of questions

1. Find the slope

2. Find the y intercept

For the slope, use this formula

m = y2-y1

______

X2-x1

= - 7 - 6

______

6- (-3)

= - 13

___

9

Ok first step done, now the y intercept,

y = mx + c ( slope-intercept form)

Since now u got m, put it in

y= (-13/9)x + c

Now they gave u two different coordinates,

(-3, 6) & (6,- 7), but these two coordinates are on the same line, therefore u can choose any one of them to be your y and x

I will choose (-3, 6)

Therefore

6 = (-13/9) (6) + c

6 = - 8 2/3 + c

C = 6 + 8 2/3

C = 14 2/3

Therefore your slope intercept for will be

y= - 13x/9 + 14 2/3
