Please help… I have it done but I don’t think I did it right because I got a decimal. (Solve for x)

-10+14=x+36

then subtract 14 from both sides of the equation

−-10x+14-14=x+36-14

then simplify it

-10x=x+22

subtract x from both sides of the equation

-10x-x=x+22-x

simplify

-11x=22

subtract the 11 from both sides and simplify

x=-2

there you go
