Then Ponyboy had ran away from home because Darry had slapped him across his face. When Pony and Johnny had wandered into the park, and Randy and Bob and some other guys came strolling in on their Blue Mustang. After some heated talk, spits at the socs, prompting them to drown him in the nearby fountain, then Johnny stabs Bob the rest of the socs disappear.
