(1892-1916) Alice Ball is known for developing the first successful treatment for those who are suffering from Hansen’s disease.
Achieved success:
She’s achieved her success by how smart she is. She discovered The Ball Method. It’s where she took oil from a chaulmoogra tree and turns it into this water consistency. Then she injects it into patients. It worked so good in fact people went home the same day.
Some challenges:
Of course as scientists do they fail so she failed some experiments.
Reason:
I choose this person because Alice unfortunately died at the age of 24 and was not able to see how successful she was. Also I kinda look up to her.
