Simplify (5x2 + 3x + 4) + (2x2 − 6x + 3).

7x2 + 9x + 7
7x2 + 3x + 7
7x2 − 3x + 1
7x2 − 3x + 7

Answer: D

Explanation: You add 5x2 and 2x2 giving 7x2. You then add 3x and 6x but because there is 2x2-6x you actually would just leave it as is (In this instance). Then add 4 and 3 giving you 7. Therefore, The answer is 7x2-3x+7
