In my opinion, I think music is a language for the following reasons music helps people communicate even if they speak the same language. Take for example, if you like kpop but you don't speak Korean you can connect with the artist/s without knowing what they are saying. When you are listening to music, it can help you meet people you never would have started to talk to them without music. Also if the music is in your language you can find the deeper meaning in the song. And connect on a deeper level than just having listened to someone talk about it.
