Answer:

8/5 - 12x

Explanation:

-4(-2/5+3x)

multiply everything by -4

-4(-2/5) + -4(3x)

-4(-2/5) - 12x

8/5 - 12x

Why is 8/5 postive? The two negatives canceled out

Answer:

D

Explanation:

A and C are both incorrect for the same reason: They both believe that 12x is positive.

So that leaves B and D. B is incorrect because it leaves 8/5 as negative which is incorrect: 2 minuses multiplied make a plus.

So how about D? It is the correct answer.
