Answer:

RXS=48

Explanation:

According to the figure,

RXQ+QXS=RXS

or,8x-1+3x+5=5x+28

or,8x+3x-5x=28+1-5

or,6x=24

or, x=24/6

or,x=4

Then,

RXS=5x+28

=5×4+28

=20+28

=48
