total no of game (n)=5

score =15, 25, 10, 2, and 8 points

mean= sum of score/no.of game

=(15+25+10+2+8)/5=60/5=12

absolute deviation of

15=\15-12\=3

25=\25-12\=13

10=\10-12\=2

2=\2-12\=10

8=\8-12\=4

mean absolute deviation=

(3+13+2+10+4)/5=3.6

is the mean absolute deviation of the points she scored during the last five games.

Answer:

  • 6.4

Explanation:

Given scores:

  • 15, 25, 10, 2, and 8

Mean of the scores:

  • (15 + 25 + 10 + 2 + 8)/5 = 12

Absolute deviations:

  • |15 - 12|= 3
  • |25 - 12|= 13
  • |10 - 12| = 2
  • |2 - 12| = 10
  • |8 - 12| = 4

Sum of absolute deviations:

  • 3 + 13 + 2 + 10 + 4 = 32

Mean absolute deviation:

  • 32/5 = 6.4
