\\ \sf\longmapsto g(x)=-2x-5

\\ \sf\longmapsto g(-8)

\\ \sf\longmapsto -2(-8)-5

\\ \sf\longmapsto 16-5

\\ \sf\longmapsto 11

Now

\\ \sf\longmapsto f(x)=x^2+1

\\ \sf\longmapsto f(g(-8))

\\ \sf\longmapsto f(11)

\\ \sf\longmapsto 11^2+1

\\ \sf\longmapsto 121+1

\\ \sf\longmapsto 122

Answer:

g( - 8) = - 2( - 8) - 5 = 16 - 5 = 11

f(g( - 8)) = {11}^(2) + 1 \\ = 121 + 1 \\ = 122

I hope I helped you^_^
