y = -0.5

Explanation:

Since 6 can be multiplied to -3, we can make an equation to make 6 turn into -3

6 ÷ -2 = -3

So since we did that with 6, the denominator, we do the same with 1, the numerator

1 ÷ -2 = -0.5

So the new numerator is -0.5, and the new denominator is -3

And the two fractions are the same
