Answer:

Explanation:

7). Since, game board is circular in shape,

Area of the game board = πr²

Here r = radius of the circle

And Radius of a circle =
(1)/(2)(\text{Diameter})

Therefore, radius of the circle =
(2.5)/(2) = 1.25 ft

Area of the game board = π(1.25)²

= 3.14(1.25)²

= 4.91

5 ft²

Option C is the answer.

8). Scale on he map is,

1 cm = 9.8 miles

Distance between Old faithful and West Thumb = 2.5 cm

By using scale,

2.5 cm = 2.5 × 9.8 miles

= 24.5 miles

Therefore, actual distance between Old faithful and West Thumb = 24.5 miles.

9). From the given picture angles b and c are Vertically opposite angles.

Therefore, these angles are vertical angles.
