Okay so like for integers I use a number line to help me like negative on one side and positive on the other but how do I deal like with these problems? And please explain :)

if -,+ comes: change sign to - (eg. 8-(+4)= 8-4=4)

if -,- comes: change sign to + (eg. 8-(-4)=8+4=12)

if +,+ comes: change sign to + (eg. 8+(+4)=8+4=12)
