Answer:

(x - 3)² = -9

Solution:

Subtract seven from both sides. After you do that, simplify, then divide both sides by -4.

Also, quadractic bit of it is x = 3i + 3, x = -3i + 3.

Answer:

x=3+3i, 3-3i

Explanation:

-4(x-3)²+7=43

(x-3)(x-3)= x²-6x+9

-4(x²-6x+9)+7=43

-4x²+24x-36+7=43

-4x²+24x-29=43

-4x²+24x-72=0

-x²+6x-18=0

Quadratic formula: -b+√(b²-4ac) / 2a

-(-6)+√((-6)²-4(1)(18)) / 2(1)

6+√(36-72) /2

6+√(-36) / 2

x=6+6i / 2

x=3+3i, 3-3i
