For the fourth term

A(4)=-2•2^(4-1)

A(4)=-2•2^(3)

for the 8th term

A(8)=-2•2^(8-1)

A(8)=-2•2^(7)

A(8)=-256

Therefore first, fourth and eight => -2;-16;-256
