Answer:

this angle's sum is 90°

(3x+40)°+(4x-6)=90°

7x+34=90°

7x=90-34

7x=56

x=56/7

x=8

3x+40 = 3×8+40 = 64°

4x-6 = 4×8-6 = 26°
