Explanation:

In functions, the (f/g)(x)=f(x)/g(x). It basically division of the functions.

We solve them each separately.

We first plug in 5 for all of the x values:


f(5)=(5)+3\\f(5)=8

We then solve the second one:


g(5)=5^(2) -2\\g(5)=25-2\\g(5)=23

So, now we divide!


(f/g)(5)=(f(5))/(g(5)) \\(8)/(23)
