Measure of each wall : 16 6/2 '

Number of walls = 2

Total area to be painted :

16 6/2' * 2 = (16 + 3) * 2 = 19 * 2 = 38 inches

1 feet = 12 inches

x = 38 inches

12x = 38

x = 38 / 12 = 3.167 ft²

2.)

Area of rectangular canvas = 225

Height = 18

Base, b =?

Area of rectangle = height * base

225 = 18 * b

225 / 18 = 18b / 18

12.5 = b

Base = 12.5 inches
