Work = Force x Distance, calculate the amount of work done on an object

when a 300 N force acts on an object for a distance of 10 meters.

where w is the work done, in this scenario in the unit of Joules

the force, or f, is given to be 300N

the distance, or d, is given to be 10m

because joules is simplified to Newtons times Meters, all we need to do in this case is plug the givens into the equation.

so, 300 Newtons x 10 Meters = 3000 Joules
