x= 240/7

So we know that according to the law of multiplying exponents that when multiplying them, you are just adding them together

With that in mind, x/6+x/8=10

From here, we can just solve for x!

Multiply both sides by 24

4x+3x=240

Add the x’s

7x=240

Anddddd divide both sides by 7

x=240/7

Remember, you can always double check your answer by plugging in your answer into your original equation! :)
