2x² - 4x - 2 = 0 <=> 2(x² - 2x - 1 ) = 0

<=> 2(x² - 2.x.1 - 1² ) = 0 <=> 2(x - 1)² = 0

<=> (x - 1)² = 0/2 = 0 <=> x - 1 = 0

<=> x = 0 + 1 = 1

P/s: A² - 2AB + B² = (A - B)²

ANSWER: x = 1

Ok done. Thank to me :>
