I bow to my sensei shaking with excitement. After 18 year of dedication and pouring my life into this, I would finally become a black belt. All the time, money, restless nights, long training, would lead me to one of the biggest achievements of my whole life. Who would've thought, I the un athletic kid would become a black belt? My sensei turns to me and hands me my belt. I bow again. With the sweatiest palms I turn to the mirror, and tie the belt. I tie it in a perfect knot just like I was taught. I'm proud of myself. I'm proud of how far I've come and how far I plan to go in the future.
