v =10 is the answer of 5th question (-40)/-4 = 10

Explanation:

I. Find sum of flour and sugar

when c is cup, flour = 3/4 and sugar is 3/2

`(3)/(4) +(3)/(2) = (9)/(4)` or
`2(1)/(4)`

II. If total is
`4(1)/(4)`

so
`4(1)/(4) - 2(1)/(4)` = 2
