Form a polynomial having
and x-3 and x-2 as the factors.

  • We can form a polynomial by multiplying these two factors.

  • (x - 3)(x - 2) \\ = x(x - 2) - 3(x - 2) \\ = {x}^(2) - 2x - 3x + 6 \\ = {x}^(2) - 5x + 6
