A small company has a fleet of 6 pickup trucks and 5 delivery vans. A larger company has the same ratio of pickup trucks to delivery vans. If the larger company has 90 pickup​ trucks, how many delivery vans does it​ have?

Answer: 75 delivery vans

The small company has a ratio of 6 pickups : 5 delivery vans.

Assume the larger company's delivery vans are x.

Using direct proportion:

6 : 5

90 : x

Cross multiply:
