One scenario could be if a researcher is trying to research if a plant grows better in the light or in the dark. The experiment could go wrong if the researcher miss writes the data of the plant growing in the dark by simply not paying close anough attention to the plant. This in turn would make the experiment faulty and ruin the entire expirement.
