Answer:

Speed of Airplane is 260 miles per hour and the time taken is 8 hours

Speed of sports car is 65 miles per hour and the time taken in 3 hours

Explanation:

Let the speed of airplane be "X" and the speed of Sports car be Y

Given-

Speed of the airplane is 4 times the speed of the sports car


X = 4Y

Also,

Airplane could fly 2080 miles in 5 more hours than it look the sports e to drive 195 miles

Time taken by sports car to travel 195 miles is
(195)/(Y) hours

Time taken by airplane to travel 2080 miles is 5 hours more than
(195)/(Y) hours


(2080)/(X) = (195)/(Y) +5

Substituting value of X in above equation, we get -


(2080)/(4Y) = (195)/(Y) +5\\(2080 - (195*4))/(4Y) = 5\\Y = 65miles per hour

Speed of Air plane
4 * 65 = 260 miles per hour

Time taken by Sports car to travel 195 miles is
3 hours

Time taken by airplane to travel 2080 miles is 8 hours
