The length of a rectangular field is 4 m longer than its breadth. If the perimeter of the field is 44 m calculate:

i) breadth
ii) the area of the field

Explanation:

Breadth = 8m

Length = 8m + 4m = 12m

Area of the rectangle = length × breadth, 12m × 8m = 96m square.
