x=6 y=4

Explanation:

Equating corresponding terms , we get

x/2=3

or, x=6

Also,

y/2+1=3

or, (y+2/2)=3

or, y+2=6

or, y=6-2

y=4

Therefore, x=6 and y=4.

And


\\ \rm\Rrightarrow (y)/(2)+1=3
