Democratic socialism supports political democracy within a socially owned economy. In democratic socialism it is believed that both, the economy and society, should be run democratically in way of meeting public needs, not to make profits for a few. Authoritarian socialism is political view supporting some form of socialist economics while rejecting political liberalism.
