“He had Brown Hair. Not golden like then knights in the story, and his eyes were dark as rivers. The glory was his face.”

Why did the author choose to use the word "glory" in the phrase "The glory was his face"? Please don’t answer just for points.

Maybe like happiness? Or that he has in honor for his hair maybe. I’m not positive though

The golden hair made the other knights seem glorious. With the character looking different from others his glory came from his face which was distinct from other characters
