PLEASE HELP 1/5 x = 60

1/5 in decimal form is 0.2, it’s easier to use a decimal in this scenario.

Here’s how it’ll go:

0.2x = 60
you need to get “x” by itself, so divide by 0.2
BUT do one BOTH sides of equation, or it won’t be correct.

0.2x = 60
/0.2. /0.2

“/ “ means divide

Then you’d get
x = 300, which is your answer!
