Explanation:

Equation of given line:

5x-4y=-3

4y=5x+3

y=5/4 x+3

given slope=5/4

Lines are perpendicular so :

required slope=-4/5

By using point slope form:

y-3=-4/5(x-5)

5y-15=-4x+20

5y=-4x+20+15

5y= -4x+35

y=-4/5x+7
