Answer:

Steward of Creation

“Therefore let those who suffer according to God’s will entrust their souls to a faithful Creator while doing good” (1Peter 4:19). “… upholding (sustaining, guiding) all things (the universe) by the word of His power” (Heb 1:3). Do you ever look at God’s creation, its complexity, beauty, and artistry? How amazing and breathtaking! He watches over it and sustains it and keeps it all together.

Steward of Divine Promises

God’s promises are so precious and unfailingly trustworthy. “If we are faithless, He remains faithful – for He cannot deny Himself” (2Tim 2:13, ESV). “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He Who promised is faithful” (Heb 10:23). “By faith Sarah … considered Him faithful who had promised” (Heb 11:11).

Steward of the Divine Mission

“Jesus said to them, ‘My food is to do the will of Him Who sent Me and to accomplish His work’”(John 4:34). “I always do the things that are pleasing to Him” (John 8:29). “I have glorified Thee on earth, having accomplished the work that Thou gavest Me to do” (John 17:4). “Then I said, ‘Behold, I have come; in the scroll of the book it is written of Me: I delight to do Thy will, O My God’” (Psa 40:7-8, ESV). It is wonderful to think of the sheer delight the Lord had in doing and finishing the work that the Father had given to Him to do. His goal was to bring pleasure to the Father in spite of the awfulness He had to face. “It was the will of the Lord to crush Him” (Isa 53:10).
