Answer:

x = 5

y = 9

Explanation:

Since the scale is 2, the side of x needs to 4 because the corresponding side on the other figure is 2 (2 * 2 = 4).

So, x - 1 = 4

x = 5

Similar to the y side, the y side needs to be 10.

So, y + 1 = 10

y = 9
