Answer:

x-intercept= -3

y-intercept= -2

m(slope)= (-2/3)

equation= y=(-2/3)x -2

Explanation:

x-intercept: where the line hits the x-axis

y-intercept: where the line hits the y-axis

m(slope)= (y2-y1)/(x2-x1)

using the intercepts, (0,-2) and (-3,0)

(-2-0)/(0-(-3))

-2/(0+3)

-2/3

equation:

y=mx+b

we don't know b so to solve for it we can use any point as "x" and "y" but I am going to use (0,-2)

y= -2

m(slope) = -2/3

x= 0

b=?

-2=(-2/3)*0 +b

-2= 0+b

-2=b

so y=(-2/3)x -2
