If a ball is thrown 6m above the ground. Its total energy at that point is 12 J

Get the mass of the ball

12 = m * 9.8 * 6

m = 12/58.8

m = 0.204kg

The height of the ball halfway = 6/2 = 3m

Potential energy half way = mgh

Potential energy half way = 0.204 * 9.8 * 3

Potential energy half way = 6J
