A boy, flying a kite, holds the string 5 feet above the ground and plays out string at 2 ft./sec. as the kite moves horizontally at a height of 105 ft. Find the rate at which the kite is moving horizontally when 125 feet of string have been let out.

Step-by-step explanation:y=105 - 5 = 100 ft

z=125 ft

dz/dt=2 ft/sec

by using Pythagorean Theorem, we find x

x^2 + 100^2 = 125^2
