Question 2: 2 out of 3 parts are shaded.

Question 3: 2/3 of the whole is shaded,

Question 4: 1/3 of the wholde is NOT shaded.

Explanation:

Question 1: You can see on the shape there are 2 lines and is divided into 3 parts(3 pieces separated), that means it is divided into 3 parts.

Question 2: if you look on the rectangle closely, you can see that 2 of the 3 squares are shaded.

Question 3: in question 1, we know that there are 3 pieces and in question 2, we know that 2 are shaded and that means that the fraction is 2/3.

Question 4: we know that 2/3 of the squares are shaded so that means we have to subtract 1 by 2/3 so 1-2/3=1/3 and that leaves us with 1/3 of the pieces are shaded.
