We're using the 30° because it's the angle in between adjacent and hypotenuse. We are tasked with finding hypotenuse and we are given adjacent so because of SOH CAH TOA we are using Cousin.

Cosine= Adjacent ÷ Hypotenuse
Cos 30° = 2/x (Cosine times 30° equals two divided by x)
x multiplied by Cos30° = 2
x = 2/Cos30° (x equals 2 divided by Cosin times 30°)
x = 2.3
